As an adjunct to sailing, I'm interested in cartography and bathymetry. These images were collected by NOAA as a part of research regarding underwater landslides due to seismic activity.

NOAA now makes files containing rasterized images of printed charts and files with vector based desciptions of charts available on-line, and I've long downloaded the record of my excursions from GPS units, so a natural outcome is an image such as this which shows one of my daysails.
